CME enhances electrical design resource to support continued growth

Award winning Automation and Packaging Machinery specialist CME Limited continues its recruitment drive to support sustained growth with the recent appointment of Rachel Lawrence, who joins the Somerset based business as  Electrical Design  Engineer. Rachel’s appointment enhances the company’s Electrical Design Team, led by Electrical Design Manager James Barr, and will provide additional resource for panel design and layout, electrical drawings and documentation.

Rachel Lawrence Joins CME as Electrical Design Engineer

Rachel’s previous experience includes an extensive period with prepared foods specialists Oscar Mayer, where, in her role as Engineering Technician, she gained extensive experience in a wide range of disciplines including electrical design, programming, specifying and implementing machine upgrades and supporting shift engineers.  

James Barr commented “Rachel will be a valuable asset to our team and her extensive knowledge of the food manufacturing sector, it’s regulatory standards in relation to panels, wiring and operational protocols will strengthen CME’s offering within this growing market.”

CME Limited currently employs 120 people and is active across a number of sectors including: Tobacco, Legal Cannabis, Pharmaceutical Medical & Life-Sciences and Food Beverage & Confectionery. The company supports a wide range of customers worldwide ranging from multi-nationals to independent family owned businesses.
