Kings Lynn-based logistics firm Ge-Be Transport has joined Palletways, Europe’s largest and fastest growing express palletised freight network.

Ge-Be Transport will handle 2,000 pallets for the network, servicing the whole of the Norfolk area.

The firm, which was founded in 1982 and employs over 50 people in Kings Lynn has invested more than £225,000 in new vehicles to bolster its Palletways operations. The company now has a fleet of over 40 vehicles which includes three brand new Scania lorries.

Jason Green, Director at Ge-Be Transport said: “We decided to join Palletways because of its mature domestic and pan-European networks, which will add a lot of value to our service offering in East Anglia. The company is also ahead of the curve in terms of innovation and IT and we look forward to benefiting from the state-of-the-art monitoring and tracking systems which will enhance our operational efficiencies.”

Palletways, which is headquartered in Lichfield in the West Midlands, has a wide UK network of more than 100 members who share each other’s resources to deliver goods in the most efficient way possible. In Europe, Palletways delivers to 20 European countries, which is more than any other pallet network.
