Novus, the logistics and supply chain management degree scheme that guarantees successful graduates a job, is partnering with Business on the Move, the innovative supply chain board game.

In addition to sponsoring the ‘Rules’ card for Business on the Move, Novus has become an integral part of the game itself, through the introduction of Novus ‘Skills’ cards. These will allow players to choose to become a Novus sponsor. In real life, sponsors help shape the degree courses and provide Novus students with mentoring, work experience and a job.

Novus will also be supporting Business on the Move with its schools engagement and social media activities.

“Novus is a game changer for students and the industry and this is a great way to bring the scheme to the attention of young people eager to learn more about our sector,” said Andy Kaye, founder and chairman of the Novus Trust and CEO of Bis Henderson Group. “We share a desire with the team behind Business on the Move to inspire and encourage talent into the sector as a means of plugging the serious skills gap and shortfall of graduate talent evident in the logistics profession.”

Business on the Move has been designed to teach young people of all ages about the importance and complexity of global supply chains. The aim of the game is for players to move goods from one side of the world to customers on the other side of the world by land, sea and air, as quickly, as profitably and as responsibly as they can. Novus joins other game sponsors such as CHEP, DHL, DP World, FedEx, MSC, the TT Club, Unipart, Worldwide Chain Stores and XPO Logistics.
