RARUK Automation has built its reputation on providing cost-effective, hassle-free automation and its MiR mobile robots for in-house materials transport and logistics have played a major part in this success. The robots’ scope of application has allowed RARUK Automation to expand its customer base into diverse industrial and commercial sectors and this performance has now resulted in the company being confirmed as an MiR Excellent Partner for 2019.
As well as being a great achievement for RARUK Automation it brings rewards for its customers too as the company will have much closer involvement with the development of MiR products as a member of MiR’s Global Advisory Board. RARUK Automation will also be first to market in the UK with the latest generation systems.
To gear up for this prospect, RARUK Automation has confirmed the appointment of another technical sales engineer to its team dedicated to MiR sales. He is Vincent Harper who served his apprenticeship at Marconi Defence Systems and whose subsequent career has spanned project management, servicing, engineering and training.
Harper has joined RARUK Automation from the smart technology company, Icon Connect where he undertook many engineering roles and added audio visual engineering to his skill set. The RARUK Automation Technical Support Centre will be Vince’s new base from where he will provide sales and applications support to customers throughout the UK.
