NetDespatch has released Velocity eTrader2, an updated version of the shopping cart that allows courier and parcel companies to offer anyone the opportunity to book parcel delivery services online and pay by credit card or PayPal account, from their own website. The service is designed to help local delivery firms to win new business from SMEs and other occasional users of same day or next day collection and delivery services.
eTrader2 users also gain access to the NetDespatch Velocity ‘on demand’ applications platform. This includes intuitive account based web booking, systems integration, pre- and integrated labelling, address management, mileage and weight based pricing, manifests, event tracking, management reporting, PODXchange delivery status management, and Agility mobile data solutions.
The services are all provided in real-time and integrate with other systems such as sales order processing, warehouse management and retail shopping carts.
