The South African-based materials handling specialist Eqstra Industrial Equipment has established a new company, HC Forklifts UK, which will import and distribute the Chinese manufactured HC forklift range in the UK.
Equstra signed an agreement with Chinese manufacturer Hangcha Group in January and the forklift range was unveiled to the media at an event in Corby last week.
Equstra will market the range through a dealer network in the UK.
Business development manager, Nigel Martin, has been recruited to head up the new venture.
Eqstra group, which supplies and maintains materials handling equipment already has a presence in the UK through its ownership of Impact Handling.
