A Hertfordshire logistics specialist has retained the industry gold standard for product handling and food safety for the 10th consecutive year.
Letchworth Garden City-based Aztek Logistics received BRCGS A accreditation following the latest inspection of its storage and distribution facilities in December.
The company secured the certification after extensive and far-reaching audits into its supply chain practices and procedures, alongside an analysis of its storage and distribution facilities and vehicles.
The BRCGS completes the comprehensive audit to guarantee the highest industry standards for product handling and food safety.

Aztek operates across the retail and food and drink sectors, and the inspection marked it on the quality and safety of products during their storage and distribution throughout the supply chain.
The BRCGS accreditation checks that businesses working in food safety, packaging materials or storage and distribution are meeting the required standards.
Stuart Charter, managing director of Aztek Logistics, said: “Every year, our team proves it is up to meeting the high standards expected of us by the BRCGS, so this 10th consecutive accreditation is real cause for celebration.
“We continue to sell on quality of service in a sector where trust is hugely important. Customers need to have confidence in what we do and achieving BRCGS certification every year is just one of the ways we can demonstrate our value to their supply chains.
“I’m exceptionally proud of everyone at Aztek who has contributed towards this landmark achievement.”
Aztek is a member of the Wolverhampton-based Pallet-Track network, and last year won a Platinum Award marking its outstanding contribution to the network for the fifth consecutive year.
