igus is running its third vector awards competition to reward challenging and innovative applications using cable carrier systems. Entrants from anywhere in the world are eligible to enter. The presentation will take place on the igus stand at the Hanover Fair, 23 to 27 April.
The judging panel includes expert scientists and engineers and the winners will be rewarded with cash prizes of €5,000 for first place, €2,500 for second place, and €1,000 for third place.
“Modern polymer energy chains are the umbilical cord of modern-day automated equipment – ensuring the safe supply of energy, data, signals and media – on equipment such as cranes, machine tools and robots,” says Justin Leonard at igus UK.
