Leading warehouse and logistics expert, CML, is proud to have been selected as a finalist at this year’s Global Freight Awards, which took place in November at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, London. The annual awards recognise excellence in the freight forwarding industry and throughout the supply chain community.

Now in their 22nd year, the Lloyd’s Loading List awards saw over 500 freight forwarders, shippers and industry professionals in attendance. Known for putting customers first and understanding their needs, CML was shortlisted in the ‘Customer Care’ category. This award recognises industry-leading companies that can demonstrate real examples of outstanding customer care. A great illustration of the hard work and commitment CML shows towards its customers is in the recent Brexit forum that it hosted to help customers better prepare for Brexit, offering support to the businesses that need it.

CML was recently awarded the silver accreditation from Investor In Customers (IIC) in recognition of its delivery of exceptional levels of customer service. The company’s award entry also detailed CML’s core values and how customers are offered access to its customs expertise, which may highlight challenges and opportunities with regards to HMRC compliance. As part of this service, there is a review that can be taken so that companies can find out whether an HMRC Health Check from CML is beneficial – to discover more, visit: www.cmlplc.com/hmrc-health-check/

Commenting on being nominated for the Customer Care award, commercial director, Kerry Delaney said: “We’ve had a fantastic year in terms of being recognised for our achievements and being shortlisted in the Global Freight Awards is just another example of this. We take great measures all year round to evaluate our customer care performance and we’d like to thank the team at CML for enabling us to excel in this field.”
