Compact Grid is designed specifically to handle smaller, more delicate products, while providing a lower mass, open-mesh belt design that is ideal for high speed cooling and drying operations. The lighter weight and lower mass, along with its unique design, makes Compact Grid a more energy efficient solution than other conventional conveyor belts.
Engineered with a 70% open surface area and a 10mm mesh, Compact Grid provides optimal performance for processes in which product coating, drainage, and liquid or air circulation are factors. Compact Grid’s open stainless steel design is ideal for ovens as well as many other high-volume, high-throughput processes. The increased open area also makes Compact Grid extremely easy to clean and maintain.
The positive sprocket drive system of Compact Grid allows for the minimum of belt operating tension, and eliminates the need for costly belt tracking systems, commonly required for friction driven belts.
Offering a much tighter wrap capability than most friction-drive metal beltings, Compact Grid allows for improved conveyor-to-conveyor transfers and minimises the chance for product yield loss in high speed processing operations.
The outstanding innovation is the design of the new product, which combines lower mass with high strength and load carrying capabilities. The advanced manufacturing technology used for Compact Grid produces a belt that reduces maintenance down time through extended belt life and ease of fitting.
Compact Grid is available in widths from 282mm to 1842mm with standard widths from stock for immediate call off.
