Impact Technical Services, has launched an innovative new grinding, welding and soldering extraction arm with a pivotal hood – the only product of its type available in the UK
The GRAM Pivotal Extraction Arm and Hood is already proving a popular choice with many manufacturing companies, due to its range of specific features for larger working areas and its efficient and effective performance.
Manufacturing processes which have benefited from the unique qualities of this product so far include welding, grinding, adhesive application, laser grinding, solvents and soldering. The arm is the only product of its type available on the UK market thanks to Impact Technical Services’ unique UK distribution partnership with Danish company, GRAM.
The GRAM Pivotal Extraction Arm and Hood starts from £895 and can be installed within 2 weeks of ordering. The product will be on display at the MACH 2016 conference at the NEC in Birmingham between March 11th and 15th.

The GRAM Pivotal Extraction Arm and Hood is specifically adapted to suit grinding, welding and soldering applications with its extra wide pivotal hood which can easily be positioned to capture light grinding dust, welding smoke and fumes from larger surfaces. It can be wall mounted and has a total length of between three and six metres depending on the nature of the installation.
It has a carrying capacity of up to 40kg in its rotation joint and the standard aluminium hood, which comes with protection edges, can tilt, revolve and is self-holding. The hood measures 300x1500mm with edge extraction and a direct hose connection to channel is also available, as is a PULLE vertical suction grinding panel attachment.
