Cobot Area

With nine in 10 packaging companies now using robots, the show will present a new area dedicated to showcasing the latest advancements in automated systems.

  • Reeco Automation will display its automated systems solutions that use human-robot collaboration that can be integrated with employees and exiting factory equipment to reduce production costs.
  • Vikaso will discuss its Robotics 4.0 ready solution for the cobot world alongside the Kuka LBR iiwa, a unique innovation that allows energy and communication connections directly to the Flange of the robot.
  • RARUK will unveil two new automated systems, the SMARTSHIFT Tool Changer which provides simple and fast tool shifting on virtually any type of robot, and the EasyPalletizer, a platform that works with Universal Robots to make box palletising easy and mobile to increase flexibility and operation speeds.
  • Simmatic Automation Specialists, the UK’s only agent of SIASUN Cobots, will showcase the next generation seven axis cobots.

  • Schur Star Systems will introduce the Schur®StarLight Concept, which consists of a packaging machine and premade resealable bags. The compact solution has been designed to optimise production processes to reduce lead times and offer efficiency, flexibility, and reliability.
  • Fillcon Cosmetic Sampling Solutions will launch its tube, bottle, and container sampling solutions for use throughout the beauty industry.
  • TAWI will unveil its unique solution for mobile material handling and order-picking from pallet racks. The Mobile Order Picker is compatible with any forklift or pallet jack and utilises a user-friendly on-board control panel.
  • Excel Packaging Machinery Limited will launch the Pentavac Piccola VFFS bagging machine. The entry level machine is suitable for small to medium size production and is able to realise pillow and gusseted bags for food and non-food markets.
  • Epson will launch several new on-demand label printers; the ColorWorks CW-C6000Ae, CW-C6000Pe, CW-C6500Ae, and CW-C6500Pe. The latest additions extend its existing range to meet the needs of small to medium batch customers and include auto-cutter and time-saving auto-peeler models.
  • Yorkshire Packaging Systems, Hugo Beck, and Logopak will launch their collaboration, FLEXO E-COM, a packaging machine designed for the e-commerce market which combines auto-bagging with print-and-apply labelling solutions to offer one integrated system.
