fruitcore robotics, a pioneer in the field of AI-supported automation solutions, has started series production of the HORST1500 industrial robot. This latest generation of Digital robots sets new standards in automation with innovative AI technology. At the same time, the modular Solution Kit Machine Tending is being introduced, which ensures flexible and particularly cost-efficient automation of machine loading.
HORST1500 – A robot of the latest generation
HORST1500 has been specially developed for machine loading and palletizing processes. By further developing existing, industry-proven technologies and optimizing the patented robot kinematics with AI-supported development tools, such as machine learning algorithms, the industrial robot achieves up to 75 % faster cycle times than its predecessor HORST1400. Its extended workspace, compact design and improved maneuverability ensure maximum flexibility in confined spaces. HORST1500 can position itself very close to machines, which enables it to reach deep into the work area. With a reach of 1485 millimeters and a payload up to 15 kilograms, it is also very versatile. The IP54 protection rating ensures reliability and robustness in harsh industrial environments.
New Solution Kit Machine Tending – Flexible and cost-efficient
Alongside HORST1500, fruitcore robotics introduces the modular Solution Kit Machine Tending. This automation module integrates HORST1500, enabling flexible and cost-efficient automated machine loading with minimal effort. It consists of standardized Component Kits that can be individually assembled for the respective application. This modularity allows the system to be quickly and flexibly adapted to different machines and production requirements, offering maximum flexibility in project planning at the lowest possible cost.
The Solution Kit Machine Tending is compatible with a wide range of systems, including CNC milling machines, injection molding and laser machines and presses. Thanks to the flexible parts supply and the double gripper, the Solution Kit offers maximum autonomy times and minimizes machine intervention times. This adaptability not only ensures efficient machine loading, but also reduces the need for frequent operator intervention, further reducing operating costs.
Central control software with AI support
The industrial robots and Solution Kits from fruitcore robotics are programmed and controlled centrally via the user-friendly, AI-supported horstOS control software. It is the key to simple automation and supports users effectively and intuitively when setting up components, programming and controlling automation processes with HORST. With a clearly structured and easy-to-understand user interface, horstOS enables quick onboarding, even without specialist knowledge or extensive training. New jobs can be set up in less than 60 minutes, saving time, reducing operating costs and increasing productivity.
horstOS also offers 3D visualization of the automation process, making it easy to implement entire applications. Users can carry out simulations in an interactive 3D world, while experts can use textual programming for complex tasks. Graphical elements and predefined programs facilitate the creation of automations by making them user-friendly and customizable.
One outstanding feature is the integrated AI Copilot, based on ChatGPT. This enables natural voice communication with the industrial robots and provides real-time troubleshooting support and precise programming instructions. The AI Copilot not only increases the efficiency of work processes, but also supports rapid adaptation to changing requirements. By integrating the AI Copilot, horstOS simplifies automation and promotes an intelligent manufacturing environment that strengthens competitiveness.
Relief for the manufacturing industry
The Digital Robots from fruitcore robotics also address the increasing shortage of skilled workers and the high-cost pressure in the manufacturing industry. Thanks to the rapid project planning and implementation of the Solution Kits, companies can quickly achieve productivity gains in machine loading. The project planning effort can be reduced by up to 85 % resulting in considerable time and cost savings.
