The Freight Transport Association (FTA) has launched a special offer on one of its most popular training courses this spring. Anyone booking on FTA’s ‘IOSH Managing Safely’ course in March will get a 20 per cent reduction for each delegate, meaning a saving of up to £123.

The ‘IOSH Managing Safely’ course is suitable for any organisation that wants to improve its health and safety compliance by training line managers responsible for risk and resources in their workplace. It ensures that people who work for organisations know how to work safely and without risk to health. Attendance helps to develop a positive health and safety culture, where safe and healthy working becomes second nature to everyone. It also meets the legal duty to protect the health and safety of employees

FTA’s ‘IOSH Managing Safely’ is an intensive four-day course, which covers everything from identifying and managing risk, to health and safety legislation and investigating accidents and incidents. Upon successful completion of the course and assessment, students are awarded a Managing Safely certificate from the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), the world’s largest health and safety membership organisation.

This special offer means the price for FTA members is reduced from £495 per person to £396, while the charge for non-members drops from £618.75 to £495. The course will run at FTA’s Leamington Spa training centre from 12 – 15 March. Delegates must be able to attend all four days.
