Armstrong Optical has introduced the EarIR-9 to its range of EasIR handheld thermographic cameras. The range offers a solution to all thermal measurement requirements, is said to be easy to understand and operate, and has been designed for both entry-level and expert thermographers.
The EasIR-9 generates fully radiometric JPEG images containing full temperature information that can be stored on an internal 4GB SD card and/or transmitted via USB2.0 to a PC for analysis using the IrAnalyser software suite. It utilises a 384 x 288 pixel sensor offering over five times more spatial resolution enabling greater detail to be obtained.
The EasIR cameras offer autofocus at the push of a button and IR-fusion imagery where the thermal image is overlaid onto the visible image to allow for even clearer fault identification.
EasIR cameras are also subjected to a drop test from 3m high to ensure they continue to operate in the meanest of work places.
