Jet Environmental, a provider of temperature control solutions for industrial and commercial buildings, has appointed Ivan Gonzalez to the role of technical manager.

As a ventilation, heating, refrigeration and heat recovery expert, Ivan will provide technical expertise, advice, design specifications and detailed costings for Jet Environmental’s clients at every stage of their projects.

Ivan joins Jet Environmental from ChickMaster, the provider of environmental control systems for hatcheries. He oversaw sales of ventilation and energy management systems – which increased by 90% in the last 12 months.

Ivan was also responsible for developing ChickMaster’s parts business, sales of which grew by 40% under his management.

Between 2008 and 2012, Ivan held the positions of HVAC Engineer, project manager and sales and business administration engineer at ChickMaster.

Before joining ChickMaster, Ivan worked in the Department of Design in Engineering at the University of Vigo in his native Spain. Here, he developed theory and practical lessons based on designing and modeling in solid works and AutoCAD.

Speaking about the appointment, Jason Hibbs, managing director at Jet Environmental, said: “Ivan’s track record speaks for itself.
