Mitsubishi Electric has announced its attendance at the PPMA exhibition 2017 with the intention of showing a series of system solutions for processing and packaging applications. Each system is designed to boost productivity, using the latest PLC controllers, servos, HMIs and robots to increase efficiency and improve quality.

Mitsubishi Electric will be at stand C60 at the event. The PPMA Show takes place at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC), Birmingham, UK, 26–28 September 2017.

Visitors to the Mitsubishi Electric stand will have the opportunity to witness many of the latest automation solutions in action on an advanced Proseal GT0 tray sealing machine, complete with the integration of a MELFA robot. Also on show will be Mitsubishi Electric’s PackML solutions and Linear Transfer System.

The PPMA Show offers key industry players the chance to network and view the latest developments in packaging and processing for sectors such as food and beverage, pharmaceutical, personal care, and consumer goods. Over 320 exhibitors are expected to take part this year, offering insight into the progression of the technology that shapes the market.

Chris Evans, marketing and operations group manager at Mitsubishi Electric, commented: “We are looking forward to offering visitors an inside look into our very latest automation solutions at this year’s show. On display will be a range of HMIs, PLCs, drives, servos, control gear, motion systems and robots, all of which are integrated into solutions that offer the end user, and the system integrator, a significant market advantage.

“Our breadth of expertise in processing, packaging and general factory automation puts us in a unique position, so we encourage attendees to talk to us regarding the next steps of their automation projects and how we can help to facilitate them.”
