Packer Products, a major supplier of packaging materials and equipment, is poised to launch a range of new label dispensers at the forthcoming PPMA Show 2012.
The range, which includes the PLC-60, PLC-100 and PLC-130, boasts a variety of features including adjustable speed settings and an accurate stop position with a tolerance of less than 1mm.
Each dispenser is easy to load and unload, and can be ready to use again just 5 seconds after a roll has been changed. The compact structure and design gives each model a minimal footprint.
The PLC label dispensers cater for an array of requirements, with the PLC-60 being ideal for smaller labels that are 5-60mm wide, such as barcodes. With increased speed and power, the PLC-100 is best for varying sizes of label from 50 to 100mm, while the PLC-130 is great for broad labels up to 130mm wide.
Packer will also be showcasing a range of its existing products in addition to the new products launched, including PAL-Cut Antim Aqua® sheets.
The base sheet, launched by PAL-Cut, is designed to help prevent moisture migration from the bottom of pallets to moisture-sensitive items. The sheets also act as pallet stabilisers, have an anti-slip surface and are 100% reusable.
Made of waterproof paper with an inbuilt moisture barrier, the Antim Aqua® and Antim65 intermediate sheets are cut by the PAL-Cut sheet dispenser before being placed onto a pallet by a packing robot.
