Component cleaning, light deburring and weld discoloration removal are said to be even quicker and easier thanks to a new innovation from diversified technology company 3M. 3M Scotch-Brite Radial Bristle Brushes are available mounted on a 6mm shaft, meaning for the first time this type of product is ready to use straight from the box.
The shaft-mounted version is also more durable and cost-efficient as no additional mandrels are required.
The 3M Scotch-Brite Shaft Mounted Radial Bristle Brushes are available in 50mm and 76mm diameters and in P80, P120 and P220 grades.
Bristle abrasive technology consists of a unique formation containing 3M Cubitron abrasive grain, with individual moulded discs grouped together to form a brush. This system offers significant performance advantages when working with irregular surfaces or detailed features, alongside increased safety when compared with wire brushes.
