Due to demand, IntraLogisteX and Robotics and Automation will be collocated at the NEC, Birmingham this year. The two-day event, held on the 28th and 29th of March 2023, offers a platform for logistics professionals to discover the latest logistics innovations to address current and future challenges.
RARUK Automation will be exhibiting a range of automation solutions on stand no. 324. Their in-house automation experts will be available to offer insight into the options available. RARUK Automation will be demonstrating an autonomous mobile robot from Mobile Industrial Robots, the ER-FLEX from Enabled Robotics, as well as a series of cobot application solutions for Universal Robots collaborative robots.
MiR’s AMRs offer a safer alternative to traditional forklifts and trucks, as their sensors make it possible for the robot to manoeuvre safely and efficiently around people and obstacles, even in highly dynamic environments. The MiR range offers a variety of payload capacities, with the largest mobile robot in the fleet able to carry loads of up to 1,350kg.
Also on RARUK Automation’s stand is the ER-FLEX, an automated transportation robot with the flexibility of a robot arm. Combining technology from MiR and Universal Robots, this mobile collaborative robot is fully autonomous and does not need to run on tracks. Common applications include warehouse automation, material handling and picking and packing, to name a few.
One of the application solutions that RARUK Automation will be showcasing is a Surface Finishing Solution. Repetitive finishing tasks can be automated by combining a Universal Robots cobot with a Mirka sanding or polishing head, which can be customised to suit specific application needs. A range of industries could benefit from this finishing solution, as it is suitable for use on a variety of surfaces including wood, plastic, metal, fibreglass, solid surfaces and carbon fibre.
Similarly, RARUK Automation will be demonstrating how you can turn a UR cobot into an efficient screwdriving cell with Robotiq’s Screwdriving Solution. The solution is compact and can be easily set up on a bench top, freeing up workers for higher value tasks and reducing the risk of repetitive strain injury.
The latest Palletising Solution from Robotiq will also be on RARUK Automation’s stand. The AX and PE Series robotic palletisers can be easily integrated into existing manufacturing lines, making automated palletising or depalletising the perfect solution to enhance end-of-line operations.
