Rockwell Automation, the world’s largest company dedicated to industrial automation and information, today announced Åsa Arvidsson as its new regional vice president for its North Region in EMEA covering the Nordics, UK, Ireland, and Russia. In this role, Arvidsson will drive faster time to value for customers as they increasingly adopt digital solutions to improve resilience, agility, and sustainability in their operations.

Based in Sweden, Arvidsson and her team will build relationships with end users, OEMs, and partners in her region. This appointment will further enhance the company’s leadership team for Europe, Middle East, and Africa, helping to accelerate the company’s strategy to bring the Connected Enterprise to life in the region.

Susana Gonzalez, EMEA President, Rockwell Automation, said: “Wrapping up a successful fiscal year, I am delighted to welcome Åsa to the Rockwell Automation EMEA leadership team. In joining our organisation, she is taking on a role that is key to the execution of our regional strategy to drive accelerated and profitable growth into FY22.”

Arvidsson will help customers realise the full business value of digital transformation and how technology can help them grow their operations strategically while also meeting their sustainability goals. She is looking forward to driving industrial digitalisation across all the countries in her region.

“Our intelligent industrial systems enable all our customers to seamlessly save on infrastructure costs, speed time-to-value, and increase productivity,” said Arvidsson. “With a changing environment, where companies have become much more aware of risks in global supply chains and production, the need for automation of their full operation increases. I am excited to join Rockwell Automation and be part of this journey together with our customers.

From Strength to Strength

Arvidsson isn’t the only new regional vice president to join Rockwell’s leadership team. Additionally, Christian Reuter was named EMEA Regional Vice President, Market Access.

Reuter and his team will drive Rockwell’s market access strategy across the region by expanding and enhancing the company’s PartnerNetwork ecosystem. Extending Rockwell’s reach into key markets is one of the company’s strategic priorities for driving growth in the region. Accelerating software offerings along with traditional hardware sales will be critical to that success, Reuter said.

“Rockwell Automation delivers an expansive, global partner ecosystem of market-leading technology, superior local support and services, as well as an integrated and streamlined approach to business,” Reuter said. “This helps our customers succeed through our breadth of innovative technologies that no single vendor can provide alone, including our very exciting software solutions.”

In March, Malte Dieckelmann was named EMEA Regional Vice President, Software Sales, where he has been driving client success around the company’s outstanding portfolio for the Connected Enterprise with smart manufacturing, IOT and analytics. This was a new role in the EMEA region, and Dieckelmann’s experience in leading, transforming, and growing software businesses has been critical in accelerating Rockwell’s activities with strategic alliance partner PTC; recently acquired Plex Systems, the leading cloud-native smart manufacturing platform; and AVATA, a leading services provider for supply chain management, enterprise resource planning, and enterprise performance management solutions.

Partha Seshadri was named EMEA Regional Vice President, Lifecycle Services. In this role, he has been driving growth and performance in the company’s EMEA Lifecycle Services business, including the Solutions and Services businesses. Rockwell Automation LifecycleIQ™ Services provide the transformative partnership that customers need and expect today, and Seshadri’s leadership is helping companies work faster, smarter and with greater agility at every point in their business cycle.

Together, these new appointments elevate Rockwell Automation’s already-impressive EMEA leadership organisation, ensuring the company continues to deliver exceptional service to its customers throughout the region.
