Less than 18 months after the company signed a deal on a new 290,047 sq. ft facility in Dartford (Kent) 250 of Europa Worldwide’s staff have moved into the new £30m site.
The state of the art facility – head office, hub and logistics facility at Prologis Park is Europa’s biggest single investment to date.
As well as a head office function the site features 204,294 sq. ft of dedicated warehouse and logistics space, split between specialist warehouse and European transit operations.
The massive site is large enough to house seven football pitches or 107 tennis courts!

In January 2014, Europa Worldwide signed an agreement with Prologis, the global owner, operator and developer of industrial real estate, to build the new facility.
The Dartford site provides warehouse services for blue chip customers, including value-enhancing activities such as pick and pack, stock reworking, third party logistics, product manipulation and returns management.
Dartford has total racked storage capacity of 25,000 pallet spaces. Racking has been built to accommodate pallets up to eight levels, an addition, and 28,450 sq. ft of space split over two mezzanine floors, dedicated to pick and pack and assembly activities.
All of Europa’s customers with a logistics operation running out of its previous site in Erith have moved to the new Dartford facility. This includes Sahara Presentation Systems PLC, the UK manufacturer and distributor of audio-visual (AV) presentation products.
The company says it is close to being able to announce that it has secured three substantial logistics contracts and expects that all of its logistics sites will be fully occupied by the end of this year.
Europa Worldwide Group employs more than 500 people across 13 sites in the UK and Hong Kong and is represented in 100 counties.
