Flir thermal imaging is used across industry to detect thermal anomalies that indicate fault or impending failure. However, despite being universally applied, what is being done now is only a fraction of what is to come. So in order to encourage as many educational establishments as possible to take up this technology, Flir Systems has introduced a 30 per cent discount.
“Thermal imaging can be applied to so many curriculum subjects and that will feed the imagination of tomorrow’s infrared camera users,” explains Andy Baker, UK & Ireland sales manager, Flir Systems.
“The UK is also a world leader in innovation with much research into new products and processes being developed within the university environment. The Flir offer is therefore particularly beneficial to this community.”
The discount is available until 31 December 2011 on all Flir cameras from the troubleshooting, compact Flir i-Series up to the Flir SC and S-Series cameras with every feature for advanced thermal imaging and detailed analysis.
