Until 31 December 2015 or while stocks last Fluke (UK) is offering special process industry tool packages consisting of a range of calibration kits or a troubleshooting kit at approximately 15% below the cost of the individual items if purchased separately. The calibration kit consists of a Fluke 719Pro which calibrates pressure using a built-in electric pump and a Fluke 771 milliamp clamp meter which can measure output signals without breaking the loop. The troubleshooting kit includes a Fluke 789 ProcessMeter fitted with a Fluke ir3000 FC connector to link to the Fluke Connect wireless network plus a Fluke a3004 FC 4-20mA DC Current Clamp, part of the Fluke Connect family.

The Fluke 719Pro Electric Pressure Calibrator included in the calibration kit is ideal for calibrating high accuracy transmitters, pressure switches and pressure gauges with accuracy to ±0.025%. It offers one handed pressure calibration and includes a full functioning loop calibrator that sources, simulates and measures mA signals, and can measure temperature using an optional RTD probe. The Fluke 771 Milliamp Process Clamp Meter delivers 0.2% accuracy with resolution and sensitivity to 0.01mA for testing and troubleshooting PLC and control system analogue I/Os. It is designed for applications where it is impractical to shut down processes, or put systems into ‘safe’ mode, in order to break the loop and place a meter in series with the circuit to take measurements. It features a detachable clamp to facilitate measurement in tight spaces as well as a measurement spotlight that illuminates wires in dark enclosures.

The Fluke 789 ProcessMeter, part of the troubleshooting kit, combines a loop calibrator, a true-rms digital multimeter, a 24V loop supply and a selectable 250 Ohm Hart resistor in a single handheld tool, reducing the need to carry multiple instruments. It can drive up to 20mA into loop instruments with a high input impedance up to 1200O, offers a HART mode setting with a built-in 250O resistor and 0% and 100% buttons to toggle between 4mA and 20mA sourcing for quick span checks. The Fluke ir3000 FC enables the ProcessMeter to wirelessly transmit measurement data to a smart phone for secure storage on the cloud, thus enabling access by any team member in the field. The Fluke a3004 FC Current is a fully functional current clamp meter which measures 4mA to 20mA signals without ‘breaking the loop’. It features a detachable clamp with extension cable for measurements in tight locations and can be used as a standalone meter or as part of a system. A logging function enables the recording and saving of up to 65,000 measurements. As part of the Connect family of test tools it too will wirelessly transmit data to a smart phone.
