Specifically designed for CSE work, gas detection specialist Crowcon’s new portable Gas-Pro confined space entry (CSE) gas detector has application-driven features including a top-mount display, internal pump, detection of up to five gases simultaneously, and +ve Safety – a, tri-colour status indicator which can fit differing regulations.

Crowcon also has a number of other new gas detection products, including the IRmax infrared (IR) hydrocarbon fixed gas detector and the LaserMethane mini Gen2 (LMm) portable methane detector.

The IRmax is an ultra-compact IR gas detector said to deliver rapid, fail-safe detection of hydrocarbon gases with very low power consumption. Said to be smaller and lighter than comparable detectors, the IRmax is easy to install in the most inaccessible locations.

The ATEX approved, second generation LMm is designed to detect methane at up to 100m in seconds turning what used to be a time consuming and potentially hazardous procedure into a quick and easy one.
