Manufacturer of materials handling solutions, Advanced Handling, has built a designated showroom to offer live demonstrations of their complete range of materials and manual handling solutions. During the first week of July, the company will be opening their doors for visitors to experience Advanced Handling today.

The showroom has been installed with solutions demonstrating their individual capabilities plus the holistic business benefits of integration. Advanced Handling’s managing director Mike Prince explained the purpose of the new showroom; “We wanted our showroom to be more than a live product display – offering an educational experience too. Our aim is to demonstrate the way our solutions and equipment work together and show customers the true value and benefits they have for their businesses.”

The showroom offers four main display areas, starting with overhead handling solutions and moving round to static scissor lifts, lifting trolleys and mezzanine goods lifts. The Movomech overhead handling display allows visitors to physically experience the systems smooth weightless operation and will be able to discuss with the product managers and technical team about task specific end effectors. The static scissor lift display demonstrates the ability to integrate the durable lifting platforms, allowing visitors to apply this to their operational processes. The PRONOMIC range of lifting trolleys are mobile and semi-automatic and visitors will be assisted in their full modular configuration which allows them to support a wide range of tasks across all industries. Finally visitors will be able to watch from inside and outside the showroom as the MezzLite Flat Pack moves goods to the mezzanine floor above the showroom.

Each day from 8th – 10th July between 11.00 am and 3.00 pm Advanced Handling have created an open and informal programme with hourly introductory presentations about the company and their complete range of solutions; tours through the recently refurbished factory and demonstrations in the new showroom.

To complete the informal programme, the team at Advanced Handling are bringing in a taste of World Cup fever for their guests offering them the chance to take up the penalty shoot out challenge with a chance to win an iPad.

In the last 18 months Advanced Handling launched the MezzLite – a standard modular footprint mezzanine goods lift with a capacity of 250kg, and in June they will officially launch their new Voyager Freedom Stacker, the Freedom Plus. The Freedom Plus has been designed with ergonomic features to improve the handling and manoeuvrability of the unit whilst increasing the load capacity to 350kg. Visitors will have exclusive views of the MezzLite sister model – MezzLite FlatPack which is due for launch later this year. The flat pack mezzanine goods lift is in response to increasing export demand of the MezzLite.

In addition to new product development, Advanced Handling expanded their core range of static scissor lifts, mobile scissor lifts, mezzanine goods lifts and stackers in December 2012 when it was acquired by the Sunnex Group. The new solutions from group companies Movomech and PRONOMIC provide lightweight overhead handling systems including vacuum lifting and a range of highly configurable lifting trolleys. Advanced Handling remains focused on continuing to develop and deliver materials handling solutions to support businesses now and in the future.
