A new warranty deal has been launched by Nilfisk-CFM which will see all industrial vacuums covered for three years from date of purchase excluding misuse. Nilfisk-CFM offers a range of industrial vacuum cleaners; from the classic aluminium GM80P to fixed central installations. All industry segments and applications are provided for with single phase and three phase solutions covering both mobile and static equipment.

It is our commitment and confidence in machine quality that enables us to extend this cover. Three years is a long time in the life of a hard working machine. We are so confident in the machines ability to withstand the rigours of industrial life that we are providing warranty cover for a full three years from purchase.”
The new warranty cover will extend to unique IVAC solutions such as those in place at KEW Gardens. The Oak Processionary Moth is a major defoliator of oak and poses a serious risk to human life as a result of dangerous toxins. Nilfisk-CFM supplied CFM 137 H Class, 110V vacuums to be taken into the trees on a cherry picker. A bagging system allows the moths to be collected in a bag for safe disposal and the bag also acts as a part filter. The system is completed with a second stage star filter (PTFE) and a HEPA filter before the motor.
Similarly individual bespoke systems designed and installed in demanding industrial plants will also benefit from the three-year cover.
Global chemicals manufacturer Huntsman Advanced Materials has such a solution at their manufacturing site in Duxford, Cambridgeshire where highly flammable resin residue, water and toluene needs to be safely collected and disposed of. Flame permits had previously been necessary but Nilfisk-CFM provided a solution with the A17 DAU (absolute filtration) Air vacuum cleaner. The Industrial machine is completely air driven, therefore intrinsically safe and rated for Atex Zones 1 & 2 plus dust zones 21 & 22. The body of the unit is manufactured from 316 grade stainless steel and was supplied with a mechanical float system and drain plug.
