Webb Automation and Pharma Packaging Systems will participate at PPMA in 2024 together to showcase some of the key systems available for filling/packaging of powder and solid form products including some systems that integrate combined technology from both businesses.
With 50 years of experience and service to our customers GWA will demonstrate the latest Servo-Fill SF5 auger filler which is suitable for dosing most powders and granules from products by weight or volume into a wide range of packaging formats including bottles, drum, boxes and flexible packaging solutions. These market leading systems are available as standalone solutions or can be integrated with other systems including Form Fill Seal, Box filling or be supplied as part of a fully automated turnkey line.
A Servo-Fill SF5 mini auger filling system will also be on display integrated with a unique walking beam mono-block that allows automatic bottle feed, filling, plug insertion and capping in a very compact footprint. The mono-block system can also be extended to allow the addition of other devices as required including desiccant insertion, sealing and labelling to add to the flexibility.
Pharma Packaging Systems has been supplying tablet and capsule counter and complete packaging lines for over 20 years with 2000+ installations in 40 countries. The primary counter ranges cover both vitamin/supplement products and the regulated pharmaceutical markets, whether installed as part of full bottling lines or integrated with other packaging systems including form/fill/seal, cartons and other flexible solutions.
The Vitacount 12-1 counter on show is the latest evolution of this high-speed flexible counter for tablets, capsules and gummies. This system can be used for filling bottles and pouches and can count all product forms without change parts.
The Ableblock Monoblock will also be on show for the first time in the UK and is a flexible and compact walking beam system that can be used for filling smaller vials and plastic bottles with liquids, powders and tablets with multiple operation stations for other operations. Additional operations possible on Able block include unscrambling, bottle cleaning, filling, plug insertion, press/screw capping and labelling in single system.
