fejul1bruderer Precision press firm stamps its mark

A provider of high speed-precision stamping presses has received the largest order in its 43-year history. Bruderer UK, will supply its BSTA 510-125B2 and BSTA 280-88B2 models to precision pressworker Brandauer in a deal worth £750,000.

The contract will see the machines delivered and installed by April next year and helps the company head towards the £3m annual sales mark in 2011.

“We’ve worked with Brandauer for more than 40 years and are delighted to be able to extend this working relationship even further with this latest acquisition,” explained Adrian Haller, MD of Bruderer UK.

The two precision high speed stamping machines will help Brandauer increase capacity, improve accuracy and also help it open up a host of new markets.

Once up and running, they will produce two billion parts every year – worth up to £2.5m in potential new sales for the firm.

David Spears, Brandauer MD, was delighted with the acquisition. He said: “This year has started well, we’re winning new business in existing and new markets, including complex and larger component orders for the medical and renewable sectors.
