Land Instruments’ Model 4500 Mk III opacity measurement and dust compliance system has been independently verified by TÜV Rheinland, Germany, to meet the EN 15267 standard for measuring stack emissions and ambient air quality and can be used for compliance monitoring applications worldwide.

The Model 4500 Mk III is suitable for a range of industrial applications where opacity compliance and dust emissions measurements are required. The instrument carries a range of compliance and performance approvals, including TÜV and the US Environmental Protection Agency and has gained acceptance in the United States with an installed base of more than 1,000 4500 Mk Series instruments.

The Model 4500 Mk’s no-moving-parts optical system is said to make the compact dust emissions monitor exceptionally reliabile. The instrument is suitable for current and future opacity and dust concentration measurement applications. Options include adapter flanges, air purging and other accessories that make upgrading existing opacity monitoring systems straight forward and easy.
