Atlas Copco UK is launching a 0% APR finance scheme to replace the withdrawn Carbon Trust loans scheme and to encourage investment in energy efficient compressed air technology. The scheme will be available on Atlas Copco equipment ordered from 1st July.
The initiative is intended to help companies invest in the latest compressed air technology. The loan can be taken out over up to seven years from £1,000 upwards. It is available to everyone – not just SMEs.
Atlas Copco has also launched a new information-led website, www.useyourenergytwice.com, which highlights the potential for compressed air energy savings using energy recovery technology.
Visitors can find facts and figures relating to compressed air energy use and learn how using energy recovery technology can have an impact on their bottom line and reduce CO2 emissions. The website offers information on how to switch a water-cooled compressor into an energy source through efficient energy recovery systems and how to recover a large percentage of the electrical input energy as hot water. The website also has an interactive calculator that demonstrates how much energy and money an application can save with energy recovery.
