Fifteen Haas Factory Outlets (HFOs) in 12 countries across Europe will open their doors to visitors on June 9th 2016 as part of initiative intended to showcase how machine shops can make parts faster, at less cost. The multi-national event is based on the Haas principle of maximising performance in the most cost-effective manner; it’s expected to attract visitors from a wide range of industry sectors.

Visitors to the open days will see affordable, high quality machine tools that have been designed to safeguard bottom-line profit. Those who invest in a Haas will benefit from renowned service, original spare parts at honest prices, and extensive, free, online support.

At each HFO open day there will be a selection of high-speed machining demonstrations. Special emphasis will be placed on spindle speeds and the chip-to-chip times of the latest automatic tool changer technologies. Through-spindle coolant demonstrations will also take place to show the benefits when applied to hole-making operations using carbide tools in high-speed applications.

Visitors will also have a unique opportunity to win tickets for the 2017 Formula One Monaco Grand Prix, widely considered to be one of the world’s most prestigious motor racing events.

The participating HFO locations are: Riga (Latvia); Kiev (Ukraine); Porto (Portugal); Bielefeld (west of Hannover, Germany); Jönköping (Sweden); Athens (Greece); Kópavogur/Reykjavik (Iceland); Pfungstadt (south of Frankfurt, Germany); Vianen (south of Utrecht, Netherlands); Toulouse (France); Saint-Etienne (France); Milan (Italy); Rupperswil (west of Zürich, Switzerland); Brussels (Belgium); and Clerment-en-Argonne (between Reims and Metz, France). Light refreshments will be available at all venues.
